Albert W. Johnson, 52, of Lake Nebagamon, WI died Monday, November 29, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Duluth, MN due to complications from covid. He was born in Superior, WI on April 22, 1969, the son of Wesley and Yvonne (Olby) Johnson.

Albert attended school in Superior, WI.  He was the owner and operator of AW Logging, LLC. Albert loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He loved football and was an avid Green Bay Packer and Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He had a love of cars and owned a 1965 mustang.  Albert enjoyed taking day trips and loved spending time with his faithful companion, “Knox”.

Albert is survived by his wife, Jennifer, of Lake Nebagamon, WI; daughter, Haley Lancour; parents, Wesley and Yvonne “Vonnie” Johnson; South Range, WI; sister, Brenda Johnson, of Lake Nebagamon, WI; niece, Imagin Johnson, of Superior; grandson, Nash Perala; and very close friend, Eric (Brandy) Severson.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Eleanor Olby; paternal grandparents, John and Mattie Johnson; and a long-time friend, Darrel Rolstad.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021, at House of Hope Church, 7184 S Church Rd., Lake Nebagamon, WI, and will continue until the 3:00 PM Funeral Service with Pastor Chad Cracraft officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers, Curt Wester, Eric Severson, Duane Rolstad, Chris Nelson, Mark Amys and John Mark Johnson.
