Alex K. Hart, 22, Poplar, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014.
He was born on May 18, 1992 in Duluth, MN.
Alex graduated from high school and went on to receive his certification in Auto Mechanics and later went on to receive his certification in Welding from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.
He was a self-employed welder.
Alex was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked snow mobiling and refurbishing older snow mobiles. He enjoyed music and was a self-taught musician, he truly loved playing the guitar and singing and performing for friends.
He enjoyed racing and was a race car driver, driving pure stock.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his dad Rodney. He also had a special love for animals.
Alex was the light of his mother’s eyes.
In addition to his parents, Rodney and Kristie McCuskey of Poplar, Alex is survived by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Thomsen, Poplar; paternal grandmother, Dorothy McCuskey, Holyoke, MN; two aunts, Barb (Gina) Wisted, New Mexico, Debbie (Wayne) VanGuilder, Farmington, MN; four uncles, Gary (Peggy) Wisted, Poplar, Peter (Jody) Thomsen, Hutto, TX, Robert McCuskey, Holyoke, MN, Richard (Cindy) McCuskey, Oakdale, MN and several cousins. Alex is also survived by his longtime special friend and companion, since third grade, Gabby Colby-Gonzales and her family of Superior.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and will continue until the 7:00 PM Memorial Service at Peace Lutheran Church in Poplar, WI on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, with Pastor Donna Rutten, officiating.
