Alice M. Mccall

Alice M. McCall, 74, Superior resident, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born on March 13, 1943 in Preston, MN to Lloyd and Claria (Mulrude) Larson.

She graduated from Preston High School and attended college.

She married Douglas McCall on August 2, 1975 and they celebrated thirty-seven years of marriage before his passing in January of 2013.

Alice worked at Dayton’s in Minneapolis, MN where she was the manager in the drapery department for many years. She then went on to be the owner/operator along with her husband, Doug of CDS Interior Design Company in Hayward, WI.

She liked to fish and sew, and did quilts for Zion Lutheran Church.

Alice is survived by one sister, Betty Larson, Washburn, WI, several cousins and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Doug and her parents.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2022 E. 2 ^nd Street, Superior, and continue until the 1:00 PM funeral service with Pastor Victor St. George officiating.

Burial will be in Union Prairie Cemetery in Lanesboro, MN at a later date.
