Amey Marie Kennedy

Amey Marie Kennedy, 68, longtime area resident died Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Superior, WI. She was born April 11, 1949 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Carl Vernon and Edith (Gelling) Stenson.

Amey worked for Community Care Connections providing personal care and homemaking for persons with disabilities.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Kennedy, Superior, WI; sons, John and Richard; a granddaughter; five grandsons; one great-grandson; brothers, Bub (Mary Jo) Stenson and Bill (Roni) Stenson; sisters, Mona and Jeannie Stenson; sister and brother-in-laws, Janice, Bill and Jon and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher; parents, Vernon and Edith Stenson; in-laws, Donald and Frana Kennedy and sister-in-law, LeAnn Jopke.

Services will be held at a later date.
