Andrew "Drew" Kovaleski

Andrew “Drew” Kovaleski, 43, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence in Milwaukee.

He was born on June 16, 1970 in Ravenna, Ohio the son of William Kovaleski, Sr. and Alesia Kathleen Tahtinen.

Drew was an avid and talented artist; he loved traveling and camping.

He was an enthusiastic Brewers and Packer fan.

Drew loved spending time with family especially his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Tathinen, Lake Nebagamon, WI; his father Bill (Denise) Kovaleski, Sr, Lake Nebagamon, WI; two brothers, Bill (Sherry) Kovaleski, Jr, South Range, WI and Brad (Emma) Kovaleski, Huddersfield, UK; one sister, Brandie (Andy) Brummer, Big Lake, MN; one stepsister, Teresa (Bradley) Fuller, Maple, WI; one stepbrother, Matthew (Cindy) Austin, Portwing, WI; four nieces and eight nephews, Lilli, James, Charlotte, Trey, Dylan, Logan, Flynn, Jake, Alex, Zach, Audralyn and Rebecca; his grandmother, Lilli Meluch, Zanesville, Ohio; close loved ones, Wes Lemieux and Lisa Kovaleski.

Drew was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rudolph and Christine Tahtinen, his paternal grandfather, Earl Kovaleski and step paternal grandfather, Andrew Meluch.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th Street, Superior.

Visitation will continue at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lake Nebagamon, WI and continue until the 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Sangmoon Kim and Rev Fr. Dean Buttrick, concelebrating.

Pallbearers for the service will be Brad Kovaleski, Bill Kovaleski,Jr, Matt Austin, Andy Brummer, Mike Culver, Keith Anderson and Pat Morgan.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
