Angeline Wuori, 83, Maple, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Essentia Health in Duluth, MN.
She was born on January 1, 1928 in Superior to Stanley and Gertrude Novack.
She married Theodore “John” Wuori on September 29, 1976 in Superior and celebrated thirty-four years of marriage.
Angeline had been employed at the Androy Hotel for many years.
She was a former member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Maple.
She loved watching the Green Bay Packers on T.V. and doing crossword puzzles.
She was an excellent cook and everyone loved her homemade coleslaw.
She was a loving and caring person, she loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and a very special niece, Jackie (Walter) Krivinchuk, another niece, Darnelle Banks and a nephew, Brian (Linda) Cadotte.
In addition to her husband, Angeline is survived by two daughters, Nancy (James) Saari, Hurley, WI, Pat (Daryl) Saari, Poplar, WI; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Inez Podlewski, Iron River, WI and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Larry Goodell; her parents, two brothers, Ted and Steve Podlewski and two sisters, Marion Androsky and Ann Doane.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Memorial Service on Monday, March 28, 2011 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home.
Pastor Sarah Kerkes of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will officiate.
