Ann Kelley, 94, lifelong Superior resident, died peacefully, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home in Superior with family by her side. She was born in Superior, May 31, 1926, the daughter of Steve and Anna Gondek.
Ann was a graduate of the former Central High School in Superior. She was united in marriage to Michael Kelley, May 15, 1954, and they celebrated nearly forty-six years of marriage before his passing in 2000.
Ann was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Superior, and was previously a member of the former St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Superior.
She worked as a secretary at the probation/parole office in Superior, and also worked for the District Attorney’s office for many years. Prior to that she had also worked at the Superior Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Becky) Kelley, Frisco, TX, and Patrick Kelley, Superior, WI; granddaughters, Andrea (Justin) Failor, Hopkins, MN, and Elizabeth (Robert) Fletcher, of Oakland, CA; grandsons, Matthew Kelley, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; John (April) Kelley, Hugo, MN; Billy (Jordan) Reeves, Austin, TX; great-granddaughter, Esme Kelley; great-grandson, Owen; and brother, Joe “Slim” (Janice) Gondek; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael; and her parents.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2316 E. 4 th Street, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as celebrant.
COVID precautions will be recognized and masks will be required.
