Ann E. (Wicklund) Joos-Kapella

Ann E. (Wicklund) Joos-Kapella, 91, Superior resident, died on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Villa Marina Health & Rehabilitation Center in Superior. She was born on December 22, 1925 in Holyoke, MN to Adolph and Catherine (Oswskey) Wicklund.

Ann was an active member of the Superior Eagles Club Auxiliary 80.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Robert Joos, second husband August Kapella; son Lawrence Joos, grandsons Richard and Randall Holm and step-daughter Kimberly Kapella.
Ann is survived by one daughter, Kay (Ed) Coppens; four stepchildren; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service will be Wayne and Russell Holm, Jerry and Robert Oswskey, Jerry Joos and Teri and Ken Kapella.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Ann’s name to the Wisconsin State Eagles Auxiliary Scholarship Fund or to Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap Street, Superior, WI and will continue until the 12:00 PM funeral service with Pastor Will Mowchan officiating.
