Anthony E. “Tony” Aydt, 25, Duluth resident, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his home in Duluth unexpectedly.

He was born on May 24, 1989 in Duluth, MN to Anthony Aydt and Beth Nelson.

He graduated from Wrenshall High School in Wrenshall, MN.

Tony was a Lead with the Players Club at Fond du Luth Casino.

Tony loved the World of War crafts, fishing, camping, hanging with his friends, Lego’s and collecting various swords.

He had plans to become an ancient history professor.

Tony is survived by his mother, Beth Nelson, Superior, WI; his father, Anthony (Laura) Aydt, Superior, WI; one sister, Tasha Aydt; auntie and honorary grandmother, Gail Trombley, Superior, WI; cousin Nikki Gonalakis; four godchildren, Kyra and Elijah Gonalakis, Kristen Anderson and Gabe Ojibwa.

He is preceded in death by his sister Teri Nelson.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and will continue until the 11:30 AM Native American Ceremony with Ricky DeFoe officiating.
