Audrey M. Christenson

Audrey M. Christenson, 73, lifelong Superior resident, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Golden Living Center, Superior.

She was born on July 27, 1936 to Leonard and Audrey (Anderson) Pederson.

Audrey was employed as a caregiver for many years. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters, Michelle (Daryl) Myer, Superior, WI and Marilyn (Bill) Brennen, Shawano, WI; son, Steve (Margie) Christenson, Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Maryann Peil, Superior, WI; nieces, Gloria Reno, Debbie White and Kay LeBard; nephews, Donny and Jimmy Wermter, Mike LeBard, Lenny, Jeff and Timmer Pederson and several cousins.

Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Lowelldean, parents, brother Don Pederson, sisters Jean Wermter and Mildred Pederson, grandson Brian John and niece Lori Kirschbaum.

Visitation will begin after 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 12:00 PM funeral service with Pastor Stephen Staurseth officiating.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Golden Living Center for their care and compassion.
