Audrey May Lippai

Audrey May Lippai, 78, Superior, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth, MN, surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 7, 1936 in Hibbing, MN to Wilbur and Gladys (Landswick) McGuire.

She attended Lincoln High School in Hibbing, MN.

Audrey had been employed as a housekeeper at the Manning Motel, Sunshine Motel and the Superior Inn. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading historical novels and animals. She was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker.

Audrey is survived by two daughters, Christine Albright and Michelle (Everett) Olsen, both of Superior; two sons, John Lippai, West Palm Beach, FL, Michael Sheridan, Oliver, WI; four granddaughters, Amanda Mathias, Kimberly Albright, Sara Mathias and Samantha Nye; two great-granddaughters, Cheyenne and Riley Erickson; two brothers, James (Phyllis) McGuire, Hibbing, MN, Thomas McGuire, Fort Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Myrtle Head and two brothers, Willis and Theodore McGuire.

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
