Barbara K. Bellino

Barbara Kay Bellino, 79, resident of Superior, WI died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 17, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born in Superior, WI on July 18, 1943, the daughter of Jerome and Ethel (Stroozas) Frasier.

Barb was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Bellino Sr. on May 11, 1963, and they celebrated fifty-nine years of marriage before her passing. Together, they lovingly raised three children.

She was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church in Superior and worked for many years at the former K-Mart in Superior.

Barb’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed playing cards and cherished the many years she and Rick spent traveling and camping together.

Barb is survived by her beloved husband, Rick Bellino, Sr.; son Rick Bellino, Jr., Superior, WI; daughter, Kim Ruikka, Circle Pines, MN; grandchildren, Amy, Mindy, Cassie, Angella, Justin, Nick, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Angel, Kylie, Anjelicia, Matthew, Arianna, Mark, Jack and Jane, and her sister, Candiss (Tom) Ciavarella.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Bellino; her parents; brother, Jerry Frasier; stepfather, Delphis (Bozo) St. George, and her nephew Matthew.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Jean Vreeland with St. Luke’s Hospice for the kind, compassionate care she provided.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue in Superior. A Scripture Service will begin at 6:30 PM with Deacon Robert Chammings officiating.

Visitation will resume at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, 5601 Tower Avenue in Superior and will continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
