Barbara A. Fellbaum, 86, lifelong resident of Superior, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 6, 1938, the daughter of Bernard and Bernice (Lozon) Cieslicki.
She graduated from the former Cathedral High School in the class of 1956.
Barbara was united in marriage to Paul Fellbaum on June 12, 1958. They celebrated forty-one wonderful years together before his passing in 2000.
She was a longtime member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Superior and also belonged to the Red Hat Society and Bunko club.
In her free time, Barb loved to travel and take trips to the casino. She also loved to read, golf, do puzzles, and volunteer at her church. Above all, she loved being with her family, especially participating in her grandchildren's activities. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Michael (Janet) Fellbaum, Oliver, WI; daughters Debra Dzikonski, South Range, WI, Paula Straka, Baxter, MN, and Vicki (Robert) Bentz, Ramsey, MN; grandchildren Crystal (Chris) Lundeen, Jessica Pierce, Jennifer Shawstad, Michelle Fellbaum, Alexandra (Josh) Johnson, Lyndsey Dzikonski, Mitchel (Ashley) Dzikonski, Jennifer Sharp, Meghan Bentz, and Thaniel Bentz; great-grandchildren Rachel, Nathan, Matthew, Jaliyah, Amiyah, Chloe, Cameron, Layla, Liam, Carson, Jackson, Dylan, Kayden, Avery, Aaron, Evan, Gabe, Alex, and Reid; sisters Yvonne Pank, Superior and Patricia (Lloyd) Larson, Superior; brothers Ronald (Joanne) Cieslicki, Superior and Steven Cieslicki, Mellen, WI; and several nieces and nephews. Barb is also survived by her lifelong friend Betty Rolandson, with whom she shared many adventures.
Barb is preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul; sister Linda Cieslicki; and brother Kenneth Cieslicki.
A Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 4315 E. 3rd Street in Superior, and will continue until the Memorial Mass at 12:00 PM, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.
