Barbara A. Mariani

Barbara A. Mariani, 52, Superior resident, died Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

She was born on April 10, 1963 in Chicago, IL to Pasquale and Rosemary (Schmidt) Barone.

Barbara was a customer service supervisor for Customer Link for several years.

She married Ron Mariani on August 30, 1997 in Des Plaines, IL and they recently celebrated eighteen years of marriage.

Barbara is survived by her husband Ron; daughter Nicolle Mariani, Superior, WI; mother, Rosemary Barone, Crystal Lake, IL; brother, Carl (Patty) Barone, Crystal Lake, IL and many nieces and nephews and her pets, Dolly, Patches and Blazer who she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 6:00 PM memorial service with Pastor Sarah Kerkes of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church officiating.
