Barbara F. Pioro

Barbara F. Pioro, 64, longtime Superior area resident, died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Superior.  She was born on August 8, 1950 in Superior, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Kathleen (Artcliff) Pioro.

Barbara graduated Cathedral High School in 1969. Barbara was employed by the Superior Evening Telegram and Lake Superior Laundry. She loved to read and enjoyed dancing. Barbara was a member of the Superior Eagles Club and the Ladies of the Moose Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Kathleen Pioro.

Barbara is survived by four sisters, Kathy Pioro, Superior, WI, Mary Ellen (Holger) Pederson, Lakeside, MT, Susan (Dale) Wick, Duluth, MN and Ann Marie (Keith) Allen, Superior; three brothers, David (Kim) Pioro, South Range, WI, Daniel (Ellen) Pioro, Duluth, MN and Robert (Angela) Pioro, Duluth, MN; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
