Bernice L. (Lozon) Cieslicki, 94, lifelong Superior resident, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at
Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center, Superior, WI.
She was born in Superior, on July 28, 1918 to Arthur and Mabel (Mason)Lozon.
She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1935.
Bernice was a lifelong member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Superior and loved to volunteer her time in the kitchen of the church and at the former St.
Anthony School.
She also was a member the Old Town Travelers.
Bernice also volunteered for the Foster Grandparent program for over twenty-five
years.
Bernice married Bernard F. Cieslicki in Superior on June 24, 1937 and celebrated forty-two years of marriage before Bernard’s passing on October 26,
1979.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Joanne) Cieslicki, Superior, WI and Steven
(Jodi) Cieslicki, Mound, MN, three daughters, Barbara Fellbaum, Superior, WI,
Yvonne Pank, Superior, WI, and Patricia (Lloyd) Larson, Webster, WI, one brother, Arthur (Clisty) Lozon, New Mexico; daughter-in-law, Francine Cieslicki, Merrill, WI, brother-in-law, John Fudally, and sister-in-law, Josephine Hawley, fourteen grandchildren,
Andy Cieslicki, Aaron Cieslicki, Mike Fellbaum, Bill Pank, Rich Larson, Steve Cieslicki, Jason Cieslicki, and Adam Cieslicki, Paula Straka, Debra Dzikonski,
Vicki Bentz, Cheryl McDonald, Sharon Noble and Jeanne Rodberg, twenty-five great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, her parents, Arthur and Mabel Lozon, her son, Kenneth Cieslicki, one daughter, Linda Cieslicki, her
sons-in-law, Arthur Pank and Paul Fellbaum, three sisters, Molly Mae, Margaret and Donna, and her brother, Wallace Lozon.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2013 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th Street, Superior where a Catholic Rosary Service will be conducted at 6:30 PM.
Visitation will continue at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Superior, WI, and continue until the 10:30 AM Mass of
Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Sangmoon Kim as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be her Grandsons.
