Bernice M. Jubenville

Bernice M. Jubenville, 97, former longtime resident of Superior, WI, died peacefully Sunday, November 22, 2020 at River Hill Assisted Living in Duluth, MN. She was born in Superior, WI, March 25, 1923 the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Winek) Wangles.

Bernice graduated high school and worked as a secretary at JC Penney in Duluth for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Superior.

Bernice is survived by her stepdaughters, Mary Jubenville, Edina, MN, and Kathleen (Tony) Burger, Solon Springs, WI; stepsons, Thomas Jubenville, Superior, WI, John (Mary) Jubenville, Eagan, MN, and James (Jennifer) Jubenville, Superior, WI; step-grandchildren, John and Andrew Jubenville, and Ellie, Donavan, Nathan and Ava Burger; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Vatalaro; second husband, Eugene Jubenville; six brothers; and her parents.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held.

Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery in Duluth.
