Betty J. Cumming

Betty J. Cumming, 64, Superior resident, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital Hospice in Duluth. She was born on August 23, 1951 in Seattle, WA to John R. and Jeanne (Krause) Cumming.

Betty was a 1969 graduate of Cathedral High School and she attended W.I.T.C.

Betty especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews when they were in their younger years. She also shared many happy years with her fiancé Harry Reinkall, who passed away in May 2011. Betty's sense of humor, compassion and her great generosity will be remembered by her family and those who loved her.

Betty is survived by her mother, Jeanne; three sisters, Nancy (Jim) Amundson, Louisville, KY, Laura Star (Paul Schneider), Lake Nebagamon, WI and Mary Courage (David “Drew”) Anderson, Duluth, MN and one brother, Robert Cumming (Diane Cook), Santa Barbara, CA and her loving nieces and nephews Theresa Matuszak, Thomas Amundson, Robert Saetham, Mary Saetham, Kelly Ryberg and Jon Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her father, John R. Cumming.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
