Betty Marie Knoll

Betty Marie Knoll, Lake Nebagamon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Franciscan Health Center in Duluth, MN.
She was born on December 28, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY.

She graduated from high school and was a homemaker.

Betty enjoyed reading, also enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, growing house plants and social media. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Lori (Tom) Keeler, Lake Nebagamon; two sons, Greg (Barbara) Knoll, Gordon, WI, Kevin (Theresa) Knoll, Littleton, CO; nine grandchildren, Holly Knoll, Lindsay (Jeff) Knoll Lundgren, Julie (Manreet) Knoll, Caitlin Knoll, Hannah Knoll, Tiffanie Lillo, Krista (Matt) Falk, Trevor Knoll and Jake Knoll; two great-granddaughters, Natalie Falk and Harper Falk; one sister, Pennee Krawczyk, Poplar, WI; two brothers, Jeff (Betty Lou) Nevin, Poplar, Tim (Darlene) Nevin, Maple and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hans Knoll; her parents Gene and Marie (Ekstrom) Nevin and a brother, Joe Nevin.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Monday, June 9, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon and continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service with Pastor Darrell Kyle officiating.

Pallbearers for the service will be Jeff Nevin, Tim Nevin, Mike Nevin, Joe Nevin, Tom Keeler and Matt Falk.


Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Lundgren, Manreet Singh and Jeff Nevin, Jr.

Burial will be in the Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
