Beverley M. St. George

Beverley May St. George, 69, longtime resident of Iron River, WI died at home unexpectedly on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

She was born in Hinckley, MN on November 29, 1952 the daughter of Warner and Irma (Brigham) Cyr.

Beverley was united in marriage to Robert St. George on June 28, 1971 and they recently celebrated fifty-one years of marriage before her passing.

She worked as a clerk for BNSF Railway for many years and was a member of the Superior Elks Club #403.

Beverley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Robert, children, Robert J. St. George of Hammond Avenue in Superior, and Kristin St. George-Peterson, Superior, WI; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Maser-Cyr, Barbara Krushel, and Patty Hockstedler, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Cyr, and her parents.

A Time of Remembrance will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue in Superior.
