Beverly A. "Bev" Robinson

Beverly A. “Bev” Robinson, 69, longtime Superior resident, died peacefully Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN, with family by her side. She was born in Siren, WI, June 4, 1951, the daughter of Vernard and Ruby (Grushes) Robinson.

She graduated from Superior Senior High School.

Bev owned and operated several businesses in the Twin Ports and was best known for Bev’s Jook Joint on Tower Avenue. Bev was well known, loved and respected in the community. She loved music, especially Blues and Jazz, and was an avid supporter of local musical talent. She loved watching football and enjoyed attending the Cortina Blues Festival.

She is survived by her daughters, Jenelle (Ryan Herubin) Robinson, Shayla Robinson, and Shannon Robinson, all of Superior, WI; brother, Ivan Robinson, Superior, WI; grandchildren, Brynlee and JoHannah Herubin, and Azalea, Davina and Sienna; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and six brothers.

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Bev’s Life will be held from 4-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Izzy’s BBQ Lounge and Grill, 1506 N. 3 ^rd Street, Superior.
