Brian James Cobb passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the age of 72 with family by his side, following a courageous eleven year bout of cancer.
He was born in Virginia, MN on January 30, 1945. The family moved to Duluth, MN in 1955.

Brian was a self-employed painter/wallpaper contractor, and was a member of the Painters Local 106.
Brian enjoyed life - was a little negative at times however, he especially enjoyed his time spent at the cabin he built on Lake Vermilion. Special times with his wonderful and caring daughter, Terry, and the boys of his life whom he loved so dearly, his grandsons, Shane and Gavin, and son-in-law, Jody, as well as other family members and friends.
Brian was an avid snowmobiler, NASCAR and dirt track racing fan. He and his wife attended many different racetracks throughout the states. His wife lovingly called him a motorhead.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Doris Cobb; in-laws, Lyman and Elsie Carlson, sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
Brian is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn; daughter, Terry (Jody) Tetzlaff; grandsons, Shane and Gavin Tetzlaff; brothers, Phil (Pegra) Cobb, Lowell Cobb and Scott (Janice) Cobb; sister- in- law Marge (Don) Anderson and sister-in-law, Diane Klindt; as well as many extended family members and friends.
