Brian L. Plunkett

Brian L. Plunkett, 62, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in a Duluth hospital following a brief illness. Brian was born January 18, 1958 to Richard “Dick” and Jeanette “Janet” (Peterson) Plunkett of Cloverland, Wisconsin.

Brian grew up on the family Dairy Farm in Cloverland. He graduated from UWS with degrees in Fine Arts and Art Scenic Design. He designed scenes and backdrops for theater companies all over the country, along with designing exhibit spaces. He also did faux painting in many homes. He enjoyed painting and designing in many mediums even in his off time.

Brian is survived by his three sisters, Mary (Ralph) Frostman and Barbara (Tom) Kolodziej, of Iron River, WI, and Janice (Rick) Oaksford, of Douglass, TX; sister-in-law, Gloria (Calvin) Plunkett, River Falls, WI; and his brother, Richard “Keith” (Jackie) Plunkett, of Maple, WI; also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jeanette Plunkett; and brother, Calvin Plunkett.

Due to CDC guidelines and Governor mandates, no services are currently being planned.
