Brian "Scotty" W. Thomson

Brian “Scotty” W. Thomson, 79, lifelong resident of Superior, WI, died peacefully, Sunday, November 1, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born in Superior, May 28, 1941, the son of William and Fern (Benner) Thomson.

He graduated high school and served his country honorably as a radarman in the United States Navy.

His passion was photography and he was a part of the Photo Society of America and the Duluth/Superior Camera Club. He enjoyed traveling the country capturing the scenery along with being a devoted photographer for the local rodeo and UW Superior. His expertise in photojournalism was recognized; wining several awards throughout the years.

He is survived by son, Scott (Dana) Thomson, Racine WI; daughter, Connie Thomson, Superior WI; grandsons: Dylan and Seth Thomson, Racine WI; sister, Judy Lindberg, Green Bay WI; and loved ones: Traci Philaja and Nick Ward, Superior WI

Per Brian’s wishes, no services will be held.
