Bruce N. Schiller

Bruce N. Schiller, 78, Gordon, WI resident, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 5, 1938 in Superior, WI to Norman and Martha (Moniak) Schiller.

He graduated from the former East High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Bruce was a self-employed carpenter for many years.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gordon, WI. Bruce was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and feeding the deer at his home that became quite tame. He also enjoyed reading, taking morning walks with his neighbor and helping those in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bruce is survived by one sister, Kay Schiller, Duluth, MN; one brother, Robert (Susan) Schiller, Fitchberg, WI; one niece, Nicole (Mike) Kipp, Brooklyn, WI and one nephew, Jeff Schiller, Evansville, WI; one great-niece, Kelsey Kipp and two great-nephews, Nicholas Kipp and Noah Schiller.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Stella and George Rogers and Sharon and Bob Hasse for their wonderful friendship they offered Bruce.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gordon, WI and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service with Rev. Fr. James Kinney officiating. Burial will be in Gordon Cemetery in Gordon, WI.
