C. Marcella "Marcy" Dyrland

C. Marcella “Marcy” Dyrland, 94, Superior, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at Encompass Assisted Living. She was born in Wells, MI on July 11, 1918 to Oscar and Julia (Holmquist) Johnson.

She was a member and very active at the Bayside Baptist Church. She was active in the Baptist General Conference and Conference Women’s Organizations. For many years she volunteered at Wood Lake Bible Camp in Grantsburg, WI.

Marcy is survived by a sister-in-law, Marit Johnson, Superior; many nieces, nephews and their extended families.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, her brother Walton and her parents.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the 12 Noon funeral service on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Bayside Baptist Church in Superior with Pastor Mark Pavola, officiating with lunch to follow and burial at Lake Nebagamon Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
