Carl Richard Hartshorn Jr.

Carl Richard Hartshorn Jr., 48, lifelong area resident, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his home in Solon Springs. He was born in Superior, August 25, 1970, the son of Carl R. and Darlene (Phillips) Hartshorn Sr.

After high school, Carl went on to work for Jack Links, and as a carpenter doing roofing and construction for many years. He loved spending time with his kids, was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and was an avid Packer fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Sadie Voight, Sheboygan, WI; sons, Carl R. Hartshorn III and Dalton Hartshorn, both of Ashland, WI; a grandson, Leland Voight, Sheboygan, WI; father, Carl R. Hartshorn Sr.; sisters, Cindy Rabideaux, Bennett, WI, Wendy Hartshorn, Jessie Hartshorn, Poplar, WI, Amber Hartshorn, Superior, WI, Sierra Hartshorn, Lake Nebagamon, WI and Dakotah Hartshorn, Superior, WI; many nieces and nephews; brother, Shawn Rhodes, Gordon, WI; and step-mother, Cheryl Hartshorn, Bennett, WI.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
