Carolyn Betty Glibbery, 84, Duluth, Minnesota and formerly of Billings Park in Superior, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Warren, Indiana on March 22, 1931 the daughter of Noah and Tressie (Meshberger) Stucky. Carolyn was one of six children. Her journey through life was filled with the music she shared with her many beloved students through the years of her teaching, and her special love of nature was ever present.
Carolyn attended UWS and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in music.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, “Copper Top Church” Duluth, MN; Duluth Superior Symphony; second violinist for many years. She taught violin, viola and piano from her home for many years.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Frederick, Duluth, MN; one stepson, Paul (Darla) Glibbery, Billings, Montana; three grandchildren, Emery, Quincy and Aurora all of Billings, Montana; many Nieces and nephews; and special extended family and wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Joe Marasco, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, “Copper Top Church” Duluth, MN and continue until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service with Dr. David Bard, Pastor, First United Methodist Church, “Copper Top Church” , officiating.
