Carrie Sue Velin

Carrie Sue Velin, 53, Superior resident, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 18, 1964 in Superior, WI to Michael and Linda (Johnson) Velin.

She graduated from high school and then went on to receive her BA of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She worked for Super One as a baker for over thirty-four years. She loved to play golf and pool and was an avid NASCAR and Nebraska Corn Huskers fan.

Carrie Sue is survived by her daughter, Sarah  Velin (fiancé Rick Phillips and his son, Andrew); mother, Linda Brow and father, Michael Velin, both of Superior, WI; two sisters, Vicki Velin, Greenwood, WI and Michele (Todd) Porter, Williamsville, MO; one brother, Darren Velin, Superior, WI and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her granddog, Reggie. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Johnson, paternal grandparents, Mark and Elsie Velin and stepfather, Fran Brow.

A Celebration of Life with be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Belgium Club, 3931 E. 2 ^nd Street, Superior.
