Catherine "Kate" Ann Sullivan

July 21, 1928 — January 1, 2020

Catherine (Kate) Ann Sullivan, 91, currently of Rogers, MN, former longtime resident of Superior, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Maple Grove Hospital in Maple Grove, MN. She was born in Superior, WI, July 21, 1928, the daughter of Clement and Hazel (Dunning) Haugh.

She was a graduate of the former East High School in Superior.

She married Robert M. Sullivan on June 23, 1949 and they celebrated 45 years of marriage before his passing in 1994. Kate enjoyed her years as a homemaker. Being a wife, mother and grandmother was very important to her.

She was also a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Altar Society, and more recently she attended Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a member of a card club, a rosary club, and the Onaway Dance Club.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Chad) Pettit, Hanover, MN and Jean (Scott) Waniger, Andover, MN; sons, Bill (Yvonne) Sullivan, Danbury, WI, Rick (Sharon) Sullivan, South Range, WI, Tim (Karen) Sullivan, Sarona, WI and Pat (Kim) Sullivan, Coon Rapids, MN; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Lucille (Bud) Reed, Costa Mesa, CA;

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert; brothers, Bill and Ray Haugh; and her parents.

Due to CDC guidelines and Governor mandates, private family services will be held for Catherine on June 18th.
