Chad "Bucky" Allan Tobolaski

Chad "Bucky" Allan Tobolaski, 66, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. He was born October 4, 1958 in Cloquet, MN, the son of Chester and Joanne Tobolaski.

He was a 1977 graduate of Proctor High School. He moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked at various warehouses as a laborer. After the loss of his partner, he moved back to Superior and worked as a cook for Duluth Bethel.

Chad loved collecting music and creating CDs for his family. He enjoyed coming home to see his family and teaching them new card and board games. He often brought with him a variety Nabisco products to watch his family fight over them. Chad was most likely to be found in the kitchen cooking delicious omelets for his family and many meals out of love. He liked to work with his hands, helping out with a shelving project or reupholstering furniture. He enjoyed rummage sales, collecting antiques, and going to the casino kept him busy hunting and winning.

Chad is survived by his siblings, Beverly Nelson, Sturgeon Lake, MN, Steve (Patty) Tobolaski, Cloquet, Chester Tobolaski, Proctor, MN, and Sharon Farrow, Superior; Barbara Motschenbacher, Cloquet, Blaine (Sue) Tobolaski, Cloquet, Lisa Neufeld, Cloquet, David (Chandra) Tobolaski, Barnum, MN, Jodi (Kelly) Larsen, Cloquet, MN; special friend, Gilberto Cano C. Naverro, Superior; aunties and cousins; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Philip Tobolaski and Joanne Beverly (Norgren) Tobolaski; siblings, Philip Tobolaski, Kathy Benko, Lori Geving, brother-in-law, Dale Nelson and sister-in-law, Jan Tobolaski, nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life for Chad will begin at 5:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2024 at Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue in Superior and continue until the 7:00 PM Memorial Service with Pastor Victor St. George as officiant.
