Charles “Chuck” Richard Eisenmann, 81, lifelong resident of Superior, Wi, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, Mn.
He was born on September 15, 1943, to George H. And Vivian A. (Higgins) Eisenmann. Chuck graduated from the former East High School in Superior, class of 1961 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He married Laura Sapik from Superior in 1967.
Chuck was a well-known businessman for forty years in Superior and Duluth, owning his first tavern the Cedar Lounge, amongst others. He was also a member of the AAD Shriners, Acacia Masonic Lodge 329, and the Moose Lodge 606.
In his free time, Chuck enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Solon Springs, WI. He loved cars, playing pool, watching old western films, and collecting his favorite country music albums. He will forever be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife Laura; daughters Kerri (Kasey) Reed, Foxboro and Sarah Asbach, Superior; grandchildren Paige Wedan, Superior, Wyatt Reed, Faran Reed, and Vivian Reed, Foxboro; sisters Donna (Anthony) Burger and Candice (Daniel) Snyder, both of Solon Springs, WI; brothers George Jr. (Carol) Eisenmann, Vero Beach, FL and Richard (Brenda) Eisenmann, Solon Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents George and Vivian Eisenmann and son-in-law Dwayne Asbach.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to staff at Solvay Hospice House; Essentia Health hospice and Elysian Senior Homes for the wonderful care they provided for Charles.
A Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, 1111 Belknap Ave in Superior, and will continue until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435 Honor Guard.
