Charles E. Olenski, 67, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN on Friday, December 22, 2017. He was born in 1950 to Elmer and Marguerite (Kosak) Olenski.
He graduated from Norte Dame High School in Milwaukee, WI. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was a United States Navy veteran. He had worked for Tri City, Frankfurth Hardware, Meditron, Plastronics, Reesman Excavating & Grading and Adams Electric.
He was united in marriage to Linda D. Saker and they had three children. Charles enjoyed hunting, especially hunting at the Mississippi, fishing with friends or family, HO trains, and helping his friends, when needed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Charles is survived by his wife, Linda, Deer River, MN; two sons, Carl Olenski, Delavan, WI and Brian (Allison) Olenski, Stacy, MN; one daughter, Dr. Laura (Andrew) Wagner, Sauk City, WI; one sister, Catherine (William) Miller, Boulder, CO and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Per Charles’s request, no public services will be held. Burial will be in the Lake Nebagamon Cemetery in the Spring of 2018.
