Christopher Lindquist, 53, died Wednesday, June 29, in Duluth, Minnesota. He was born to David and Phyllis (Wedlund) Lindquist on September 5, 1968, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He graduated Ondossagon High School in Ashland, WI and went on to further education at WITC.
Chris served his country honorably in the United States Army for many years.
Chris was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Iron River, WI.
He worked as a clerk at Menards and at several other various locations throughout his life. He enjoyed working on cars and boats, drinking Bud Lite and Mountain Dew, and he especially enjoyed fishing on Lake Muskellunge in Iron River. Above all, Chris loved spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed!
Christopher is survived by his mother, Phyllis Wedlund, Ashland, WI; sons Luke Lindquist, Superior, WI and Wesley Lindquist, Iron River, WI; stepdaughter Bobbi J. Kneeland; brother Steven (Lory) Lindquist, Mason, WI; aunts Reen Modeen, Iron River; Sue Lindquist, JoAnn (Jim) Knepp, of Florida, and Janet Daughenbauch, of Alabama; niece Alyssa (Zack) Pagels and their four children Teller, Zander, Cora, and Winter; nephew Jeremy (Angela) Lindquist and their children Hazel, Rosie and Josie, five cats and dog Lucy; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Lindquist; sister Kay Hergert; paternal grandparents Swede and Geri Lindquist; maternal grandparents Leonard and Edna Wedlund, and his Special Granny Janny.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on, Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the Iron River VFW, 8265 US-2, and will continue until the 12:00 Noon Memorial Service.
Chris was a member of the VFW Post 10197 Honor Guard, who will provide Military Honors following the service.
Should friends desire, the family requests that no flowers be sent for the service.
