Cindy Renee Bierd

Cindy Renee Bierd, 55, longtime Superior area resident, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Twin Ports Health Services in Superior. She was born in Superior on August 11, 1962, the daughter of Thomas and Betty (Bergstrom) Bierd.

Cindy graduated from Northwestern High School in Maple, WI. She was employed by the Superior Vocations Center for over ten years as a Laborer.

Cindy was a member of the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center in Superior as a Volunteer.

Cindy is survived by two daughters, Karen Reneau, Duluth, MN and Renee Thorenson, Solon Springs, WI; one son, Rick J. Bierd, Superior, WI; two grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Terry) Campetti, Gordon, WI and Thersea Janz, Superior, WI;  two brothers, Tommy and Randy Bierd and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Sherman Bierd,

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior, and will continue until the 12:00 PM Memorial Service.
