Constance M. "Connie" Larson

Constance M. “Connie” Larson, Superior, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at St. Eligius Health Center in Duluth, MN. She was born on April 4, 1949 in Superior to Fred and Cecilia (Thillman) Larson.

Connie lived in Superior’s East End most of her life and attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic grade school and graduated from Superior Cathedral High School in 1968.

Born with cerebral palsy, her grandmother taught her to embroider at an early age. Many of her embroidered dish towels and pillow cases were bought as wedding gifts. Connie especially enjoyed writing letters and having phone conversations with all her relatives and friends.

She was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by many cousins and friends throughout the United States and her longtime “lady friend” Cheryl.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM until the 12:00 Noon Funeral Service on Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with a Rosary Service scheduled for 11:30 AM. Rev. Fr. James Tobolski will be celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
