Corlin D. Johnson

Corlin D. Johnson, 85, Town of Hawthorne, formerly of the Lake Nebagamon area, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on December 17, 1925 in Hawthorne, WI to Herbert V. and Twila (Romans) Johnson.

She had been employed as a dental secretary for Dr. Sundquist, she was the clerk for the Town of Hawthorne for many years and she had been also, the bookkeeper for Twin Lakes Gas.

Corlin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon, the Red Hat Society and the Day Timers Travelers. She enjoyed travel, reading and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived two sons, David (June) Johnson, Lake Nebagamon, WI, Larry (Gail) Johnson, Lake Nebagamon; four grandchildren, Sharla (Randol) Ruffi, Lake Nebagamon, Amanda (Marc) Dryer, Bellingham, WA; Aaron Johnson, Wausau, WI and Ashley Johnson, Bellingham, WA; five great-grandchildren, Larry (Cassie) Ruffi, Luke Ruffi, Lauren Ruffi, Allison Ruffi and Reagan Ruffi; three great-great-grandchildren, Ryan and Henry Ruffi and Jackson Blake.

Corlin was preceded in death by her husband Russell and one grandson, Bart Johnson.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2011 until the 3:00 PM Memorial Service at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon with Pastor Darrell Kyle, officiating.
