Corrine Rae Forrestal, 63, of Duluth, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 15th at St. Luke’s Hospital.
She was born in Duluth, MN on January 24, 1960, to her parents Donald and Mary (LeSarge) Strom. Corrine grew up in Hermantown and attended Hermantown high school, with the graduation class of 1978. Corrine met her husband, Ed, when she was 17 years old. They were married on August 21st, 1982, celebrating over 40 years of marriage and built their life together raising their two daughters.
Corrine held various positions in her 30-year career for United Healthcare. She enjoyed going to the family cabin on Whiteface Reservoir and spending time with her two grandsons Eli and Emmett, whom she loved more than anything else in this world. Corrine was best known for putting others before herself, her kindness, and having a heart of gold. She was loved by those whose life she touched. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her presence in the lives of others will be cherished, and she will forever be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Debbie. She is survived by her husband, Ed Forrestal, daughters; Lisa Forrestal, Krissy (Russ) Anderson, grandsons, Eli and Emmett, siblings; Mark (Theresa White) Strom, John (Kristy) Strom; many cousins, family members, best friends of which there are too many to name, and her beloved dog, Opal.
A Celebration of Corrine's Life will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Billings Park Civic Center, 3903 N. 18th Street in Superior.
