Dale C. Anderson

Dale C. Anderson, 91, longtime resident of Maple, WI, died peacefully, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior, WI. He was born in St. Cloud, MN, August 14, 1929, the son of Gustav and Helen Anderson.

Dale served his country honorably in the United States Army Air Corps as a mechanic with the 375 ^th Recon Squadron in Alaska.

He was united in marriage to Shirley Mitchell in 1955, and they celebrated thirty-three years of marriage before her passing in 1988.

Dale worked as a tool and mold maker at Cornelius in Anoka, MN, where he lived for many years before moving to Maple, WI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling, and he especially enjoyed having a drink around the fire with friends and family.

He is survived by his son, Tim (Janis) Anderson, Cambridge, MN; daughter, Vicky (Rex) Whitted, of Texas; sister, Elaine Weis; grandchildren, Alex and Alyssa Anderson, Brandi (Billy) Oubre, and Amber (James) Loynes; great-grandchildren, Jenna and Travis Oubre, and Riley and Cameron Loynes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Shirley; brother, Wayne Anderson; and sister, Carol Jacobson.
