Dale Kenneth Dalbec, 70, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at McKenzie Manor in Superior, WI. He was born to Kenneth and Liane Dalbec on July 22, 1955 in Superior.
Growing up in Maple, WI, Dale graduated from Northwestern High School in 1974. He also graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Ashland with a diploma in Auto Mechanics in 1975. He worked for Dalbec Logging of Maple and Jeno’s Pizza in Duluth.
Dale married Janet Hill on September 1, 1995 and they were faithfully together for 30 years, living in Mapel and Superior.
Dale moved into McKenzie Manor three years ago when he required daily care. In his last days, he was surrounded by loving family, friends and caregivers. His family would like to thank McKenzie Manor and Moments Hospice for the outstanding care Dale was given in his final days.
Dale is survived by his wife, Janet Dalbec, Superior; sister, Annette Larsen, Superior; brother Lloyd (Lisa) Dalbec, Woodbury, MN; nieces, Liane Dalbec, Woodbury, MN and Alica Dalbec, Louisiana; and nephew, Justin Newbauer Wadena, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerome and Roger Dalbec; and daughter Cynthia Kathryn Hill-Dalbec.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Mission Covenant Church, 5161 County Road P in Poplar, WI, until the memorial service at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Walsh as officiant. A private burial will be held at St. Anne Cemetery in Maple, WI at a later date.
