Dale Steltz

Dale Steltz, 64, Superior resident, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 9, 1954 in Superior, WI to Oscar and Margaret (Houle) Steltz.

Dale served his country in Germany in the United States Army. He was a painter for Bachand Inc. for many years. He was very athletic. He enjoyed playing softball and pool. He was on a men’s pool league that won the city championship. He also was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Dale is survived by one sister, Patricia (Charles) Pruett, Silsbee, TX; seven brothers, Ray Steltz, Len (Joan) Steltz, Larry (Dawn Staples) Steltz, Gary (Betsy) Steltz, all of Superior, WI, Earl (Joy) Steltz, Silsbee, TX, Jeff Steltz, Superior, WI and Joe (Marcia) Steltz, MI and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Edna Wuori and brother Arthur “Chucky” Steltz.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass with Rev. Fr. David Neuschwander as celebrant. Dale’s brothers will be recognized as honorary pallbearers.
