Darlyne A Kehoe

Darlyne (Arras) Kehoe, Superior resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 9, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Superior.

She was born on March 15, 1925 in Superior, WI to Kitch and Alyce (Peterson) Thompson.

She graduated from the former Central High School in Superior, WI.

Darlyne married Robert Kehoe on May 22, 1998 in Carlton, MN and celebrated

eighteen years of marriage.

She worked for many years in the family businesses, the former Kitch’s Drive Inn and Thompson’s Grocery. She owned Darlyne’s Bar.

Darlyne was a former member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

She loved gardening, jazz music, dancing and spending time with her family, husband and grandchildren.

She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

Darlyne is survived by her husband Bob; one son, Dennis (Kay) Arras, Duluth, MN;three daughters, Sue McIntyre, Duluth, MN, Leslie (Wayde) Hietala, Superior, WI and Rene Thatcher, Duluth, MN; eight grandchildren, Jay (Kim), Chris Rae, Vanessa (Joe), Jessica (Evan), Erica, Justin, Philip and Dany Ra; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn (Ross) Peterson, Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandson Jon Arras; sister Carol Novak and her parents Alyce and Kitch Thompson.

A Gathering of Friends and Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
