David B. Mcginnis

David B. McGinnis, 58, lifelong Superior resident, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

He was born in Superior, WI on March 5, 1951 to James and Doris (Phillips) McGinnis.

He was a major equipment salesman for Upper Lakes Foods for many years.

David is survived by three brothers, Thomas (Debbie), Michael (Sandra) and James McGinnis, all of Superior, WI; sister, Nancy (John) Larson, Bloomington, MN; his significant other, Debbie and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He will be missed as a partner in cards.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 7:00 PM memorial service with Rev. Fr. Don Kania of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church officiating.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Solvay Hospice House for their care and compassion.
