David John Williams

David John Williams, 55, Superior, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth. He was born on January 28, 1959 in Superior to Frank and Judith (Sprouse) Williams.

He served his country in the United States Army.

He lived in Superior until he was a teenager when he moved to Beloit, WI where he lived for most of his life. After his discharge from the Army, David lived in North Miami, FL for a few years before moving to Barron, WI where he lived until moving back to Superior where he resided until his death.

David loved hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking.

He is survived by one son, John Anthony (Angela) Williams, Mount Ephraim, NJ; one sister, Vicki (Terry) Davis, Dallas, WI; one brother, Dale (Marilyn) Williams, Baxter, IA; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three brothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and will continue until the 2:00 PM Memorial Service on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Busch of Bayside Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
