Dean Leroy Edwards

Dean LeRoy Edwards, age 70, passed away September 27, at St. Luke’s Hospice in Duluth, MN.

He was born December 8, 1942 to Marlin Earl and Dora (Routh) Edwards in Superior, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents, Earl and Clara (Bachellor) Edwards, his maternal grandparents, Harry and Carrie (Fox) Routh, his twin brother Dennis Earl, and a grandson, Austin Michael.

He is survived by his three sons, Steven Dean (Lynne), Michael Alan (Michelle) and Tyler Marlin (Dani), grandsons John, Paul, Adam, Cole, Brody, Carsen and Carter, all of Superior, his sister Marlene Case, Foxboro, and his maternal aunt Irma Field, Superior.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Dennis Edwards Jr., Kristine Edwards Hansen, Kelly Edwards Schmidt, Ron Case, Jr., Kari Case Holmes, Kristi Case Benevento, Robin Edwards, and Char Edwards.

Dean attended Pattison and Central High School in Superior.

A gathering at the Summit Town Hall on Milchesky Road off of Highway 35 on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 meeting at 1:00 PM to go to the Summit Trail for the memorial then back to the Summit Town Hall for a meal following the memorial.

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
