Debra Lee Koralia

Debra Lee Koralia, 67, long time Superior resident, died Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Aspen Health and Rehab in South Range, WI. She was born in Duluth, MN on October 27, 1957, the daughter of John and Mary (Messina) Koralia.

Debra graduated from Denfeld High School, class of ’76. She spent many years as a caregiver at Superior Vocational Center and Challenge Center.

She liked to go on drives with Jake and explore different towns, which gave her an opportunity to shop a new location. Music from the 60’s and country style put a bounce in her step.

Debra is survived by her son, Jacob Ryan Koralia, Superior, daughter Erin Bellefly, Hermantown, MN; sisters, Sandra Clauson, FL, Linda (William “Bink”) Schurter, Superior, Nancy (Mark) Dormedy, Duluth, and Kathy Kalligher, FL; brothers, John (Barbara) Koralia, Duluth, and Michael (Lindsey) Koralia, Duluth; and brother-in-law, Paul Giacomini.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Mary Giacomini.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street in Superior. Burial was in Oneota Cemetery in Duluth, MN.
