Delores D. Savela Beede

Delores D. Savela Beede, 72, Duluth, passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Medical Center on Thursday, April 12, 2012, as her beloved James held her hand on her journey home.

Delores was born February 23, 1940 to Harry and Elaine (Lapinoja) Savela in Duluth, MN.
She graduated from Central High School and was employed by Kmart in Duluth.

Delores was a talented artist, her paintings and drawings would take your breath away.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elaine Savela; two brothers, Donald and Harry, Jr.; a daughter, Debbie Beede and a brother-in-law, Vern Tolzmann.

Delores is survived by her beloved James Thompson; her children, Warren (Jaydee) Beede, Iron River, Dana (Tom) Keinz, Savage, MN, Wade (Penny Hanson)
Beede, Florida, Michael (Kristi) Gable, Texas; a sister, Alice Tolzmann, Edina, MN; two brothers, Alvin Savela, Duluth, MN, David Dost, Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Taya Beede, Alex Chaffey, Brooke Beede, Jacob Johnson, Terra Johnson and nieces and nephews.

We will always miss you, we will remember you forever and will love you for eternity.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Memorial Service at Kenwood Lutheran Church in Duluth, on Monday, April 16, 2012 with Pastor Becky Wagner, officiating.

Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth.
