Dennis Spinner, Sr.

Dennis Spinner, Sr.,70, Gordon, WI resident, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born on November 26, 1947 in Superior, WI to Rudolph and Gladys (Wallin) Spinner.

Dennis worked in the warehouse at Fleming/Gateway Foods for many years and for the Gordon Fire Department. He married Terry Schaefer on May 13, 1972 and they recently celebrated forty-six years of marriage. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, cut wood and ice fish. He enjoyed helping others.

Dennis is survived by his wife Terry; two daughters, Missy Schroeder, Superior, WI and Denise (Billy) Foreman, OK; two sons, Dennis (Lorine) Spinner, Jr., Bayfield and Chad Spinner, Solon Springs, WI; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Spinner, Superior, WI and Jim Koski, TX. He is preceded in death by his sister Vicki Koski and his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gordon, WI.
