Dolores E. Pederson

Dolores E. Pederson, 86, lifelong Superior area resident died peacefully Friday, June 23, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. She was born in Superior, Wisconsin on April 2, 1931, the daughter of Verner and Theresa (Peterson) Larson.

She was a graduate of the former Central High School, Superior class of 1949. After high school, she attended college to be an x-ray technician, and worked in Duluth, Minnesota as an X-ray Tech for many years. Dolores’ second career was as a highly successful real estate agent for Century 21 until retirement.

People will remember Dolores as a quiet, modest, and kind person.

Dolores was a lifelong active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Superior, and enjoyed playing cards and reading. Dolores and her husband Paul enjoyed traveling by private plane and RV, and were members of the Good Sam’s Club.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela J. Pederson, Superior, WI and Connie L.(Rick) Bodeker, Cannon Falls, MN; one son, Paul D.(Cynthia) Pederson, Batavia, Il; six grandchildren, Julia R (David) Stolfa, Duluth, MN; Janet T. Thompson, Superior, WI; Peter M. Thompson, Bloomington, MN; Andrea J. (Nathan) Coppock, Bloomington, MN; Andrew P. Pederson and Breanna D. Pederson both of Batavia, IL; one great-granddaughter, Alena R. Coppock; one sister, Joyce A. (Bruce) Baller, Batavia, IL; one niece Laura Baller, San Francisco California and one nephew Neil (Amy) Baller and children, Lincoln, NE.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Pederson and her parents.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service with Pastor Liz Davis Officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
