Donald R. Autio

Donald R. Autio, 76, Little Canada, MN, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Barnes, WI. He was born on May 14, 1935 in Superior, WI to John and Amelia (Loustari) Autio.

He married Jean D. Moreau on May 1, 1954 in Maple, WI and recently celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage.

He was employed as a HVAC mechanic for Northwestern Bell for many years before retirement.

In addition to his wife Jean, Don is survived by one daughter, Becky (Tom) Sullivan, Bloomington, MN; one son, Brian (Jennifer) Autio, Somerset, WI; four grandchildren, Michelle Olson, Boston, MA, Erika Olson, Minneapolis, MN, Christin Sullivan, New York, NY, Michael (Kasthuri) Sullivan, Singapor, Thailand, several nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.

He will be remembered for his hard working ethic, his dedication to his family, his quiet devotion to God, his pragmatic outlook on life and his great sense of humor.

Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2011 and continue until the 2:00 PM Memorial Service in the Barnes Community Church on Highway N in the Town of Barnes, WI.
